AVADirect Custom Computers, a recognized and growing leader in the custom computer industry, is seeking a Computer Assembly Technician for our Twinsburg, Ohio location.This candidate will be responsible for assembling the custom built systems for customer and internal use.
Key Responsibilities:
Assembling laptops, desktops, workstations, servers, and gaming computer systems.
Follows quality control procedures; looks for mistakes in the assembly process and faulty components; reports problems.
Assemble, solder, wire and repair electronic components, sub-assemblies and finished goods.
Perform assembly activities prior to and upon completion, such as cleaning and organizing.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Work from blueprints, layout drawings, and verbal instruction.
Follow prescribed procedures, rules, and regulations.
Strong detail oriented focus.
Ability to work in a team and independently.
Expert knowledge of PC Hardware and components.
Ability to work under time constraints.
A+ or other computer science related certificates preferred.
1 or more years of experience in assembling computer systems preferred.
